As you may have seen on our Facebook page we are currently getting on with maintenance tasks in the run up to Christmas and welcoming our next guests. We have fixed a radiator that ran away from the wall, replaced a wobbly loo seat and are currently scratching our heads over a leaky tap with very non standard fixings (we are not to blame lol) New flooring for the bathroom is ordered and outside we now have proper steps and a hand rail at the front. The chimney has had its' annual sweep and the heating system its' full service. We do work hard behind the scenes to make sure that the cottage is comfortable and safe for your stay. All holiday cottages should have a fire risk assessment and visible fire notices along with wired in alarms and CO2 detectors. There are a lot of places out there that don't!
Next on the agenda is repainting the kitchen dressers and cooker alcove. And I need to dig out the Christmas decorations to see what we've got and what we might need.
It's a very busy time of year for Hendre Ddu!
